Webinar Wednesday with CREW (Free to Members)
Energy efficiency is a priority in commercial real estate—but can be costly to implement. In this webinar, learn about new powerful and creative financing mechanisms for upgrading aging building systems and incorporating systems in new construction projects at low or no cost to owners.
You will learn how these products:
- provide significant benefits including allowing greater efficiency during installation and system use
- are environmentally sound and effective for the capital stack
- provide PR opportunities. Many funds and REITs are now prioritizing energy efficiency in their branding efforts and to meet ESG goals. Employees working in facilities implementing these programs appreciate that their employers’ value and prioritize health of the planet in addition to the workplace.
Our expert speakers will discuss Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE), Energy Service Agreements (ESAs) and similarly structured programs centered on reducing utility consumption, as well as other incentive programs that can be used in conjunction with PACE and ESAs such as Renewable Energy Tax Credits (ITCs), renewable energy Credits (RECs), Historic tax credits, Opportunity Zones, and stormwater management incentives.
